JOHANNESBURG – Karabo Mokoena had just healed from a vicious beating when she was murdered.
And days before her death, the young woman praised God for her survival from that attack.
Mokoena’s loved ones shared these painful details at her memorial service in Diepkloof, Soweto on Wednesday,
But they also celebrated the life of the 22-year-old they described as exuberant, loving and deeply religious.
Her burnt body was found in a veld in Lyndhurst, eastern Johannesburg, last month.
She is to be buried on Friday.
