The enchanting Momo’s Magical Adventure is back with a bold new storyline, running from 5 December 2024 to 5 January 2025, in collaboration with Standard Bank Private. In this year’s production, Momo and her trusty sidekick, Mack the Meerkat, embark on a cosmic journey filled with starlit skies, deep-sea magic, and celestial friends like Bertie-Stargazer the Unicorn and Polly the Northern Star. With performances in a uniquely designed theatrical tent in the centre court outside Checkers, this immersive children’s theatre show is a visual and emotional feast for the whole family.

Adding to the festive cheer, Sandton City invites shoppers to partake in the 12 Days of Christmas social media competition. In the spirit of giving back, Sandton City will once again host gift-wrapping stations in front of Jet and Naartjie from 2 to 24 December. For a small donation to the Sandton SPCA, shoppers can have their gifts wrapped to perfection, knowing their contributions support a worthwhile cause. Last year, this initiative raised an incredible R476,000, which the SPCA used to upgrade its Inspectorate department, purchase a new vehicle and take vital work in animal welfare further. This year, the goal is to surpass that achievement, ensuring the spirit of generosity thrives alongside the holiday magic.
