Kwaito/House group Uhuru is having some trouble after one member Maphorisa went off on his own to shoot a video with Davido.
Nigeria’s Afro beat and BET Award winner, Davido, released his new single and video titled ‘The Sound’ featuring Uhuru and DJ Buckz.
The collaboration with the Nigerian star has caused tension with the group members when Maphorisa chose to miss the Glo-Caf Awards in Nigeria to shoot Davido’s video.
Only one Uhuru member is seen in the footage, does this mean that DJ Maphorisa is Uhuru?

The video shot in Dubai was meant to feature the group Uhuru however only one member is it.
It was reported that the group were on the verge of parting ways, with Maphorisa’s alleged bossy behaviour being the main cause.
“There’s been a rift between them because Maphorisa thinks he’s bigger than the group. He is so busy with collaborations and producing with other African artists,” a source said.
On the other hand Davido’s single is receiving a lot of love. The video has reached 120, 000 likes on YouTube.
The hitmaker’s latest music offering has a touch of house music as opposed to the afro beat he is famous for.
