Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema is being accused of squandering public funds.
Businessman and politician Gayton McKenzie has penned a scathing letter to Malema.
In it he claims the EFF leader and some of his trusted lieutenants are living lavish lifestyles using the party’s funds. Last month, the EFF had to answer questions about a private Golf GTI that reports said the party had been using money from the EFF’s main bank account but the opposition party has rubbished these claims.
The Economic Freedom Fighters has been experiencing some internal woes recently. Last week its MP Andile Mngxitama said he was planning to challenge his expulsion from the party.
He had been publicly chastised for questioning the party’s support for convicted murderer Papiki Babuile.
