A contestant on last year’s version of America’s Next Top Model has been shot dead alongside her boyfriend in a triple murder.
Mirjana Puhar, 19, was killed with partner Jonathan Cosme Alvarado, 23, and a pal named as Jusmar Isiah Gonzaga-Garcia, 21, in Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday.
Ms Puhar, 18, when she was eliminated in the 10th episode of the last year’s series.
A 19-year-old man named as Emmanuel Jesus Rangel has been arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder following the shootings.
Cops say the killings were drug related, Puhar had recently moved in with her boyfriend Alvarado and Gonzaga-Garcia, according to TMZ.
The victims’ bodies were found in a Charlotte, North Carolina, home on Tuesday. Police did not reveal how they were killed.
Tyra Banks and Ken Mok are co-producers of the reality TV show America’s Next Top Model. The two confirmed Wednesday in a written statement that Puhar appeared on the show last year.
Police say Rangel-Hernandez is also charged in connection with a murder at a motel on Sunday.
