A million rand a month!
AKA has ridiculed Cassper Nyovest for allegedly lying in his latest song ‘428 to LA’ where he claims to make a million rands a month.
Cassper in his latest song says he makes a million in a month and when out of the country, he sometimes make about a million in one day. The song itself raised a few questions when it dropped about Cassper Nyovest’s riches.
One of the questions it surely raised was ‘if he can make a million a month, shouldn’t he now be worth atleast over 10 million?’.
Here’s a snippet of what the local rapper says in the song:
“I make a mil (million) a month,
You make about 500k,
Sometimes when I’m out of the country,
I can make about a million a day,”
Well that did not sit well with AKA.
“I’m very proud that I’ve never lied on a record. I just heard a SA rapper say, “I make a mil every month” on a song. Clowns!”
“Rappers can lie about what they own and what they have etc … The people don’t know any better … But it WILL catch up with you.”
