The Kwaito musician and preacher in an interview with the Queen of bling, Khanyi Mbau on Katch it with Khanyi, Kabelo says the secret to his marriage with Gail is to “keep it interesting.”

“I think it’s important that I do the things that make my wife fall in love with me, and vice-versa. I think sometimes guys and girls let themselves go, but still demand it from their partner. It’s an effort we both have to put into the relationship,” he says.

“More than that, it’s for me. I love feeling good, I love feeling young, I’ve never felt more stronger or happier than I do right now,” he adds

Kabelo also says couples should stop promoting their relationships on social media, while in reality it may be falling apart.

“It’s great to post pictures of your love and your children on social media, but what’s going on behind closed doors is a big task and it’s not fun all the time. It’s really tough. A social media relationship and a real relationship are chalk and cheese. A relationship has to be tough,” Kabelo says.

“My wife is a mirror of who I am. I see me when I see her,” he says. “Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s challenging, but marriage is an institution to make us better people.”
