A dad who died in a plane crash before his son was born has ‘met’ his child in a heartbreaking picture thanks to a kind photographer.
Taurean Summers never got to meet his son because his wife Stephanie Summers was five months pregnant when he died in the August 2014 accident.
He was the onboard flight medic on a medical transport plane that crashed just outside Las Cruces in new Mexico.
Stephanie, who named her son after his father, approached Arizona photographer Laura Gordillo to have new photos with the toddler.
Stephanie posed with the boy at the same locations where she recently had anniversary photos with Taurean, who was 27 when he died.
To her delight, Gordillo edited one of the pictures to include her paramedic husband looking over his wife and child.
