ONE campaign recently released a brand new remix of “Stong Girl” – the anthem that celebrates the power of girls and women Worldwide.
Leading African artists, D’Banj, Diamond and Banky W joined forces with U2 lead singer and ONE co-founder Bono on the hot new remix.
” We invited these male artists to remix the track because this isn’t just a women’s issue. It’s everyone’s issue. We’ll end poverty faster – for everyone – if girls and women, boys and men get involved together, “ONE reported.
The original track features Omotola, Waje, Selmor Mtukudzi and other top female artists from across the continent. The guys may be remixing it, but the message stays the same: Poverty is Sexist. Women and girls everywhere are held back, through lack of education, and economic opportunity.
