The time for the much anticipated local romantic comedy titled “The Jakes Are Missing” has finally arrived.
A cluster of stars have been gathered to light up our screens; the likes of Mampho Brescia, Pope Jerrod, Mpho Sebeng, Nomzamo Mbatho, Darlington Michaels, Abigail Khubeka, Nicole Bailey, Heidie Mollentze, Celeste Ntuli, Dirk Stoltz, Zakeeya Patel and Jody Abrahams will reportedly be featured in the Fig Jam Entertainment produced movie.
The comedy revolves around the Jakes family who relocate after their teenage son, Simon (Mpho Sebeng) ends up at the wrong place at the wrong time and witnesses the murder of an undercover cop. As a result, the family has to go into Witness protection. This sends them on a hilarious journey where they will rediscover what it means to love each other again.
The sight of the official trailer of the movie alone is evidence of how funny the movie is: tears will surely flow while laughing so hard!
