[full]Traffic will be diverted on roads around FNB Stadium for the Soweto soccer derby on Saturday.

Chief Superintendent Wayne Minaar said Nasrec Road would be closed between Rand Show Road and the N17.

Barricades would also be erected on the Soweto Highway between Mentz Road and the N1. Rand Show Road would be closed between Nasrec Road and Aerodrome Road.

The roads would be closed from noon to 7pm.

“No private cars would be allowed to pass control points. We advise fans to use public transport,” said Minaar.

He said vehicles found parked illegally at the stadium would be impounded.

“Vehicles that are parked illegally at the stadium would be impounded and the owner would have to pay R2240 for their vehicle to be released,” said Minaar.

The match between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs is scheduled to start at 3.30pm on Saturday.[/full]
