Nomzamo Mbatha opened up on her broken engagement, the actress confirmed that she was once engaged and she that she is not planning to ever again be engaged.
During an interview on Expresso, the actress in a segment called ‘Never have I ever’ was asked if she’s been engaged, she said: “I have been engaged. Yes, I have had a rock on my finger, and I don’t plan on having a rock on my finger ever again.”
Although she didn’t mention the ex- partner’s name, we think it’s obvious that she’s talking about Khaya Mthethwa.
The Isibaya star was also asked about whether she’s had beef with someone in the industry, she said she has. She was then asked if it was bad beef, and she said: “It was, it was, it was…We were friends, and we’re not friends anymore. But there’s no beef anymore, we’re having chicken stir fry…”
Nomzamo was once close to her Isibaya co-star Jessica Nkosi. The two reportedly stopped being friends because they were fighting over Khaya.
Even though Nomzamo didn’t mention any name neither did she go into details of how the engagement ended, but we wonder why the actress says she won’t be considering having a rock on her finger ever again.
