Don’t get it twisted, love is a beautiful thing! Rapper AKA has been bitten by love bug and the rapper can’t help but gush about his Queen.
Hip-hop star, AKA gushed about his love for Queen B, Bonang Matheba during a guest appearance on popular US hip-hop morning show‚ Sway In The Morning‚ on Wednesday.
When asked by Sway if he was seeing someone‚ AKA didn’t hesitate to say that he’s taken by someone he adores.
“I have someone in my life that treats me very well and who I adore‚” he said.
The Baddest star wasted no time in telling Sway that Bonang is a star in her own right.
Even though AKA admitted that he’s not into this “mushy stuff” he undoubtedly had every girl envious of the way he opened up about their romance.
“Basically‚ we had known each other for a couple of years and I was in a relationship‚ some things happened‚ and now we are together. She had always known that I kind of dug her‚” he explained.
He went on to explain that their romance caused quite a stir but that he had to take a chance on love.
“I liked her and she liked me and there was a lot of controversy back home with both of us being public figures and me being in a relationship at the time but you know what‚ I have apologised for my mistakes.”
AKA also revealed that if you love someone then you should give it a shot.
“You only have one life to live and if you love someone and you feel it and you really want to give it a go‚ you should take a shot man. If you got a shot‚ you gotta shoot it. At the end of the day‚ it’s your life. People get hurt in love but I’m not the first man to do this‚” he said.
