With SABC undergoing major reshuffling, besties turns foe, Somizi and Bonang are set to host back-to-back shows on the station.
Somizi and Khanyi Mbau will be hosting the morning drive show on Metro FM. Which means that Somizi’s former bff‚ Bonang Matheba‚ will be on air straight after his slot is over.
The recent changes has been put in place after Tbo Touch suddenly resigned last month from the station. Even though it was reported few weeks back that the reality TV star and Idol SA judge was joining SABC radio station.
According to TMG report, Somizi was originally set to fill in for a totally different show which was changed after Tbo Touch resigned and it has now been agreed that he will be taking over the morning slot.
“There has been a lot of reshuffling. He was only told recently that he would be taking over the morning slot‚” says an insider.
It’s understood that Somizi and Khanyi may be joined by a third presenter‚ but that has yet to be confirmed.
