Local house DJ Mduduzi Ngcobo popularly known as Big Daddy Mdoo, has passed away after he reportedly suffered kidney failure earlier this year.
The news of the DJ’s death which came as a shock to everyone was announced this morning by Soweto Deep House Festival and fellow DJ, Mbuso Tulwana, on their respective social media pages.
According to the report shared, the DJ passed away at the early hour of this morning.
“It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that Mduduzi Ngcobo a.k.a DJ Mdoo has passed away. Big Daddy left us this morning at 05:45am. Details of the funeral will be sent soon. Please inform other friends that may have known our good friend,” read Mbuso’s post.
The Soweto Deep House Festival also shared news of the DJ’s death on its Facebook page.
