Actress and model Ntando Duma who has been setting off engagement rumours lately finally revealed how she came about her ring and what it stands for.
Speaking at a recent interview, Ntando revealed that her ring is simply a reminder of her commitment to self.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE Ntando says:
“This is my first time explaining this ring to the media. I bought this ring for R80 at Eldo. I put it on and took pictures with it and people were like ‘oh! You are getting married’ and I was like ‘this is none of your business’. I never feel like I have to explain myself to people.
But, yes, I was alone. I bought it for myself. I bought it to signal that I am getting married to myself and my career. It is a symbol of a commitment to myself,” she explained.
Because the ring means commitment to self doesn’t mean Ntando has ruled out marriage, the actress revealed that her sweetheart is a good planner and she might be part of his future.
“If it’s meant to be, it will happen. What I like about him is that he thinks and plans for the future. So, maybe” she said.
