Bonang Matheba quit her job at Metro FM after 3 years with the radio station.
Her resignation came in just hours after the SABC confirmed that Lerato Kganyago will co-host her radio show, a move which South African media says she didn’t like and she resigned.
A Twitter user took up the topic with her saying she resigned because she didn’t want to co-host with Lerato Kganyago, she wrote:
‘You resigned because you don’t wanna work with Lerato’ and she simply replied ‘You’re an idiot’.
Bonang revealed she didn’t leave Metro FM because she had to work with Lerato K but she left because of her principles.
“my heart is broken. I was told about the changes to my show an hour before going on air today…”
Even though the media maven is yet to unveil her next move after her resignation from Metro FM but says she will be back on radio soon.
