The single titled “Cashe” speaks about the common element in most cultures, where people only notice you or associate themselves with you when you start acquiring financial wealth and are socially elevated. Set to mesmerising beat, Taylor Jaye and Patoranking artistically explore the social and cultural dynamics of this ubiquitous preoccupation with wealth and status in a funky way that is certain to rouse your dancing feet.
Produced by the Zimbabwean hitmaker Mr Kamera, who has worked with the likes of Davido, Lady Zamar, Ice Prince, Yemi Alade, Bucie, and many more, in collaboration with Taylor Jaye and The Avengers – “Cashe” draws inspiration from different musical influences of the African continent such as: Angolan Kuduru House, South African Gqom and West African Zanku, resulting in an upbeat, cross-continental dance floor Banger.
The blend created on “Cashe” further saw the collaborative input of Shayzarr from Mixmasters & Universal and DJ Clap & DR from Kalawa Jazmee, as fine tuners on the overall sound engineering.

“Cashe” is made up of uplifting elements and intense African grooves, infused by Taylor Jaye’s trademark of blending in her native language Damara (one of the oldest African languages), and is aimed to continue to cement Taylor Jaye’ssignature in the afro dance genre.
Having premiered across the continent in Nigeria this past weekend in Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa, it was well received. Officially dropping in Tanzania, Ghana and Zimbabwe this week.
