Swedish multi-platinum artist / producer duo NOTD reveal a new single, their first of 2022, entitled “about you” [feat. Nightly]. Get it HERE via EMI Sweden / Island Records/ Polydor. Continuing a tradition of scorching collaborations, the track hinges on an intimately immersive soundscape punctuated by sparse keys, lush synths, and funky guitar. It sets the tone for downtempo bliss before buzzing Nashville alternative outfit Nightly deliver an immediately irresistible refrain, “I don’t wanna think about you, no, but I do. The nostalgic lyrics flutter on an eighties-style crescendo uplifted with a heavenly high-register harmony.

On Wednesday, March 15 NOTD will release their genesis NFT collection on the rapidly growing platform, Sound.xyz. It will be a collection of 69 ‘about you’ music NFTs.

It arrives on the heels of NOTD‘s 2021 anthem “Never A Good Time” with The Band CAMINO. Right out of the gate, it amassed 8 million global streams, including the official music video. Earning widespread acclaim, Teen Vogue cited it among “Best New Music Friday” and raved, “Speaking of killer collaborations, NOTD and The Band CAMINO explored the power of goodbye in the upbeat pop single, ‘Never a Good Time. The percussion-guided break-up track is both sad and hopeful while reminding us of the necessity of letting go.
