CONVERSE LAUNCHES NEW STORE IN
DURBAN GATEWAY
The esteemed and creative clothing and accessory brand Converse has officially launched in Gateway Theatre of Shopping Durban, KwaZulu Natal.
After previously having a pop-up store in the mall, Converse
reopened its doors with its new concept store at the Gateway
Theatre of Shopping on July 28th, 2022. The brand showcased its
latest and core collections in the glory of the stores edgy, new look
and feel
The store offers a wide variety of sneakers, all-inclusive apparel, and accessories – whether you’re a casual skateboarder, court-loving basketballer or just love to look iconic.
The store’s interior design features flashes of the brand’s street inspired colours and patterns. The walls are made of durable
concrete, which adds a warm and natural feel to the room, while the steel fixtures and steel flooring are also made of cool concrete. The base of the concrete is made from blocks, which provide a gritty urban texture.
Star FM broadcasted live in store with Unathi and Justin, capturing
the electric atmosphere with the likes of Ndumiso Dlamini
(dapperndu), Kwanele Lisa Nyongo (lisanyongo) and Treven
Moodley (treven_moodley) to name a few.
Converse undeniably moves with the times allowing individuals to
express themselves with the brand.
