Sam Meyiwa has told the media that he blamed Kelly Khumalo for the death of his son, saying Senzo would still be alive if he never got involved with her. We accept the baby but never going to accept the mother.
Speaking to The Daily Mail News, Meyiwa Senior said: “She likes to talk, she goes to the media and talk, she was supposed to phone us and tell us the story about what happened – but they did not do this, I do not want her at my house and I do not want her here.”
He went on to reiterate that Khumalo was not welcome at the funeral or his home, that he was disgusted by her behaviour and he would chase her away if she tried to visit Senzo’s home town.
“I will ask people to chase her away, I do not want her, the way she is behaving – she likes to show off, she knows that Senzo hurt me because he had his own wife, it breaks all of me and she goes showing off that Senzo is her boyfriend,” he said.
About rumours the Meyiwas had not accepted Thingo, Khumalo and Senzo’s ten-month-old daughter, Meyiwa said this was untrue.
“All the lies that we don’t want the baby are not true; her mother came here to bring the baby and report her and we even burnt traditional imphepho to welcome the baby. Senzo told us the baby was sickly and we accepted the baby.”
