Istanbul and Santiago Connected: A New Route for Travelers
Turkish Airlines has expanded its network in the Americas with the launch of flights to Santiago, Chile’s vibrant capital. Santiago becomes the airline’s 26th destination in the Americas, bringing the number of countries in its global network to 131 and solidifying its presence in the region. The route, operating four times weekly via São Paulo, reflects growing demand for enhanced global connectivity and reinforces the airline’s commitment to serving the Americas.
Travellers can look forward to a range of services designed to make their journey more comfortable. The Stopover Istanbul program offers free hotel accommodation for transit passengers with layovers of 20 hours or more, while the TourIstanbul program provides complimentary guided tours of Istanbul’s iconic landmarks for layovers lasting 6 to 24 hours.
Commenting on the launch, Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi shared, “The Santiago flights underscore our dedication to connecting continents and cultures.
