SADAG Expands Support Network With The Launch of Four New Mental Health Support Groups

The South Africa Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) is honoured to introduce a series of new Support Groups, designed to address the Mental Health needs faced by many individuals in different areas of life. These groups will focus on:

·         Women’s Mental Health and Wellbeing

·         Stress Management and Anxiety in the Workplace

·         Anxiety, Loneliness, and Everyday Stress.

·         Mental Health in the Workplace

With a heart-centred approach, these Support Groups offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where individuals can find comfort, connect with others, and share their experiences. SADAG remains firm in its commitment to supporting participants on their journey toward healing, providing tools to strengthen their Mental Well-being, and fostering a sense of hope and resilience within the community.

On Wednesday, 5 February, at 6pm, Marjaanah’s Online Support Group for Women’s Mental Health and Wellbeing will be launching. “Driven by my experiences in the counselling and education sectors, I wanted to start this Support Group to create a safe space for Women to feel truly supported and heard. Time and again, I witnessed women struggling to find their voice, feeling isolated in their challenges, and lacking a community that understood their unique experiences”, Marjaanah shared. Support Group Leader Wilma shares that personal life contributes a lot in how you become productive in the workplace and that it is ok not to be okay. Her Support Group for Stress Management and Anxiety in the Workplace launches Online on Saturday, 8 February, at 7pm.  For more details, contact Wilma on 060 882 4815.

On Saturday, 11 February at 7pm, Mo hosts his New Online Support Group for Mental Health in the Workplace. This free Support Group provides a safe space to discuss work-related Stress and Mental Well-being, offering practical tools and support. It’s open to all and aims to foster healthier work environments. For more information on how to join, please contact Mo on 073 502 1212.

Support Group Leader Sharon will be hosting a new Online Support Group for Anxiety, Loneliness, and Everyday Stress on Wednesday, February 19, at 5:30pm. This free group offers a safe space to explore Mental Well-being, challenges and provides practical tools to manage these emotions.
