The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Africa is proud to announce the opening of nominations for the highly anticipated CIPS Africa Excellence in Procurement & Supply Awards 2025, with a special spotlight on the newly introduced SheInspires Award, recognising outstanding women in procurement and supply chain across Africa.
Nominations open on Tuesday, 15 April 2025, and close on 31 May 2025.
These prestigious awards honour individuals, teams, and organisations who are transforming procurement and supply practices, delivering innovation, resilience, and impact across the continent. From digital transformation to supplier diversity and sustainability, the awards span a comprehensive range of categories that reflect the profession’s strategic importance in today’s business landscape.

Introducing the SheInspires Award
A major highlight this year is the launch of the SheInspires Award, created to honour women who have made a significant impact in procurement and supply chain management. This award celebrates female leaders and rising stars who are delivering exceptional results and driving diversity, inclusion, and empowerment within the profession.
The SheInspires Award reflects CIPS Africa’s commitment to equity and inclusion, and its belief that showcasing diverse role models is key to attracting and retaining talent in the profession.
Nominees will be evaluated on their contributions to advancing procurement excellence, their ability to inspire and mentor others, and the tangible change they are creating in their industries and communities.
Each category is designed to highlight procurement’s evolving role as a strategic driver of value, innovation, and social impact across the continent.

Nominees and winners will be celebrated at the CIPS Africa Conference & Awards, taking place on 6–7 August 2025 at The Houghton Hotel in Johannesburg.
