University of Calgary student Carlos Zetina failed to contact an exchange student he had met after she gave him her number, but he refused to give up hope.
Instead, he emailed every woman on the University’s mailing list with the name Nicole, according to the BBC.
And although he couldn’t initially track her down, the other women all clubbed together to support his search.
As it transpired, Nicole – who hails from Holland – had originally given the student the wrong number by mistake and she was happy to reconnect with Carlos.
