Life is a cycle of Change. Each individual goes through a change process which should not be of negativity but an element of developmental measures.
We have lost some things and also gained others which does not necessarily mean we failed. It is normal and proper to cry for something better but you need to acknowledge what you have first in order to move onto the next level.
Some could not finish but God kept you throughout every natural and supernatural experience.
This is that time of the year to celebrate and acknowledge the Grace of God upon us. This is the time to laugh, eat and be jolly over the goodness of God. Who knows? Maybe by now the devil had planned to cut through your heart but God said no. Summer produces peaches while autumn produces apples, winter produces oranges, while spring produces strawberries.
This merely means there is certainly something you produced in every season of your life in 2016. You might not see it now but looking back in the future, you will realise how much fruit you were able to produce during the toughest seasons of 2016. Each season you went through taught you ways of survival.
During the stormy winds and floods, you were able to tighten your rooftops. You tightened your rooftops when you got to grow that thick skin during adversity. When you could not complete your 2016 goals, the thick skin could not allow you to retreat but you managed to re-plan and understand that life is a journey and your achievement is not based on materialism but on purpose.
During the hottest days you managed to run to shelter to find protection for any dangerous rays of the sun, meaning this season taught you to run to God and know where your covering is. You managed to blossom in the spring season of your life and through it all, God was the main source.
This is a great time for you to acknowledge life and honour God for an opportunity to live. Complaining is normal but the most powerful seed to plant is thankfulness. This has been a year uniquely customised for you and you made it. It is time for you to put everything else aside and acknowledge the gift of life.
As some will be travelling to their holiday destinations, drive safe. Pray and be on alert as you drive long and short distances.
May the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit cover you till we meet in 2017. Enjoy your Holidays and celebrate Christ the giver of life.
