BIC has launched an exciting, all-new pocket lighter range inspired and designed by Africans, for Africans. The Afrilights range showcases the incredible beauty of South Africa and has been created with local relevance and creativity in mind.
BIC invited all South Africans to submit their inspiring images of the country to help create these one-of-a-kind lighters. BIC received over a thousand submissions from the public and has been excited to see these authentic African designs come to life.
The top 35 images made it into the 2020 Afrilights series based on the quality of entries. Putting quality first is something BIC strives to continue, with plans to launch a brand-new set of African-inspired pocket lighters every year – keeping it for the people, by the people.
