[full]In an essay published in New York Magazine, the star of 30 Rock said that he had enough of the constant media attention in New York.

“I’m aware that it’s ironic that I’m making this case in the media,” he wrote, “but this is the last time I’m going to talk about my personal life in an American publication ever again.”

“I just can’t live in New York anymore,” he said.

“Everything I hated about LA, I’m beginning to crave. LA is a place where you live behind a gate, you get in a car, your interaction with the public is minimal. I used to hate that.

“But New York has changed.”

Baldwin, 55, issued his statement after a year in which he was accused of homophobia and fired from his job as a talk show host on cable news channel MSNBC.[/full]
