Andrew Garfield wants to be “naked all the time”.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actor – who began dating co-star Emma Stone three years ago – has admitted he likes to go to “nude beaches” and urged people to have no “shame” about their bodies.
Speaking at the superhero film’s premiere in London, he told the Daily Star newspaper: “I love hanging out on nude beaches, yes, because I just love being naked.
“I’d be naked all the time if I could be. It’s important to be in touch with our bodies and not to have shame about what we are made of.”
The star admitted it helps being so comfortable with his body when he has to wear Spandex for his role as Spider-Man, because he is “pretty much naked” and so needs to be confident.
He explained: “Being in Spandex for the film is tricky, it does not suit the British.
“You are pretty much naked so you have to trust what you have is enough … I have that great British reserve where I don’t like attention.”
