A sold-out crowd turned out for The Soirée by Stella Artois ‘Lovers Edition’ at Toadbury Hall Country Hotel near Lanseria on Sunday with artisan cuisine, an art exhibition and a star-studded music line-up that included intimate performances by SAMA award-winning artists Ami Faku, Berita, Zoë Modiga, and rapper K.O.

Also seen at the Valentine’s Day installment of the popular lifestyle & music event series were Chef Neo Nontso, Siya ‘Slikour’ Metane, fashion designer Mzukisi Mbane, actor-musician Nirvana Nokwe and Shaka Zulu star Lemogang Tsipa.

Eventgoers to The Soirée by Stella Artois danced to an eclectic, all-star music line-up with a distinctive Afro-soul leaning, which also included Ricky Tyler, Metro FM DJ & presenter Lerato Kganyago, and DJs Mpako and Deniece Marz.

At the event, Ami Faku and Zoë Modiga both revealed some new songs from forthcoming studio albums and had the crowd on their feet with captivating performances.

An art installation from multi-disciplinary Cape Town artist & musician, Amy Ayanda Lester, also engaged eventgoers with its impressionistic inspiration drawn from the emotion of love as well as the rich flora and colours of the local landscape.

With its expansive picnic lawns and large shade trees, Toadbury Hall Hotel was an exceptional setting for the other lifestyle elements of The Soirée, including artisanal food experiences from hand-crafted culinary offerings to Stella draught and cocktails.

“It was the perfect setting and day to bring lovers, friends, and family together in such a meaningful way. We are all struggling to prioritize connections with the people we love over our daily work and life commitments, and this event gives us an opportunity to do just that. The Soirée is about creating moments that inspire us to connect with ourselves and each other and to find joy in the simplicity of the moment. Because some moments are worth more,” says Estee Burger, Marketing Manager, Stella Artois.
