Chiefs confirmed the news on their social media site that the Ventersdorp born keeper has reached an agreement the club.
“The club has reached an agreement in principle with goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and he will be joining us.”
“Some internal procedures still need to take place though and the deal will be 100% finalized,” the club said.
Khune reportedly turned down an offer to move to Denmark last week as talks with the Motaungs finally got under way and took the safe option of returning to Kaizer Chiefs instead of testing himself out in Europe.
