Potatoes and steak are nearly everybody’s favorite,they compliment each other so well.
They can be served mashed, baked, roasted and a whole lot of other ways, together with a side salad or warm veggies on the side.
Totally easy to prepare and he are not time-consuming.

Ingredients
1 medium sized potato
beef soft chin (340g) 2 fillets, about 170g each
Fresh Thyme to taste, ( about a teaspoon)
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
7 to 8 asparagus
Chives, to taste
¼ cup blue cheese
Few cherry tomatoes
1tbsp barbeque sauce for basting
Method
Scrub the potato thoroughly and cook in boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the bottom part of the asparagus stems, about 1/2inch.
Heat up a non-stick pan on medium heat and add a teaspoon of oil, saute the asparagus and cherry tomatoes together, add salt and pepper. Once the asparagus becomes tender and just cooked, remove from heat and keep warm.
Rub the steaks with fresh thyme, salt and pepper.
Add the remaining oil in a chargrill pan, cook the steaks for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side according to thickness or preference and baste with barbeque sauce
Drain the potato, leave to dry and make a lengthwise cut on the potato.
Top the potato with blue cheese and garnish with chives.
Serve the steaks with the blue cheese potato, asparagus and cherry tomatoes, and enjoy!
