Bafana legend Benni McCarthy wed his Scottish fiancée, model Stacey Munro, in the UK this weekend, City Press reported.
The couple are known to avoid the limelight and did not disclose the exact time of the ceremony. Munro (30) from Edinburgh, is the mother of McCarthy’s fourth child, Lima Rosa (1).
What’s more, the couple may well settle down in Cape Town after tying the knot. Last year, McCarthy (36) told Die Son: “I celebrated Christmas in Cape Town, it was fantastic, I come here often. I am here to settle.”

The soccer star, who grew up in Hanover Park on the Cape Flats, holds the record for international goals by a South African, and appeared on the cover of Time in 2002.
The guest list included McCarthy’s agent, Rob Moore, the founder of sports and lifestyle print company Touchline.
In 1997, Moore arranged the transfer of McCarthy, then 19, to Ajax Amsterdam for an SA-record fee.
McCarthy’s former Pirates teammate Lucky Lekgwathi wished him well this week: “I would like to welcome him to the world of marriage. I wish him a successful marriage. Marriage is all about understanding and love for each other. Benni was like a brother to everyone at Pirates,” reported Soccer Laduma.
