Tour is finally over! Despite looking less than cozy with husband Jay Z on stage during their final On the Run U.S. tour date in San Francisco on Wednesday, Aug. 6, Beyonce took to her Instagram to insist that all is well with her family.
Bey stopping to commemorate the moment with a picture of her hubby carrying their little girl toward the family’s private jet. (Alas, Blue was facing away from the camera. A cute shock of hair stuck out from underneath her hoodie and she was clutching a baby doll.)
“Thank you San Fran! Your city is beautiful,” Beyoncé captioned the photo on Instagram. “It was the perfect place to complete the best tour of my life! Thank you to all the fans that supported our show. God bless.” she concluded.
While Queen Bey describes the tour as the “best of her life,” multiple sources says that the Caters have been dealing with intense martial pressures.
The On the Run Tour, especially in its final weeks, had to have been one of the most closely examined string of performances in recent memory, as fans and the media alike watched vigilantly for signs of trouble off-stage as rumors swirl that the superstar couple’s marriage is on the rocks.
After their Aug. 3 show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Carter arrived together but mingled separately at an intimate after-party for just two dozen or so people at the venue. They did leave together, of course, but they have been observed not having much interaction backstage during the tour.
A source also told E! News that Bey has been taking meetings to dicuss the future of her assets—but then again, when you have as many assets as Beyoncé does, there’s probably a lot to discuss no matter what’s going on in your life.
Earlier Tuesday it was announced that she would be performing at and receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 24, having won 15 Moonmen over the years.
