Radio Host, MC and storyteller, Boipelo Mooketsi, expands her radio footprint by joining the 5FM family as the host of the #5WeekendNights show every Saturday and Sunday from 10 pm – 01am.
Kimberley-born Boipelo Mooketsi is a young storyteller, AFDA and Phakama Women’s’ Academy Graduate. Her love for speaking grew in high school where she excelled in debating and public speaking clubs. She turned her passion for speaking into a business when she started MC-ing corporate events in her hometown.
“Joining the 5fm family reminds me of how hard work, dedication and consistency can genuinely take you to your next level. I am living one of my biggest dreams and I get to inspire others in the process. I’m extremely grateful and look forward to creating many more magical radio moments at my new radio home,” expresses Boiphelo.
Boipelo fell in love with radio at the age of 15 and in 2017 at 19 years old, her professional journey with radio started at Vow FM, where she worked tirelessly to earn her first daytime show titled Area Code.
