Off the back of their debut Glastonbury performance on the Woodsies stage, where thousands of fans witnessed an unforgettable pop show from the history-making British girl group, FLO today announce the surprise release of ‘3 Of Us’, the first new music since top 40 ‘Fly Girl’ featuring Missy Elliot. ‘3 Of Us’ is a celebration of Jorja, Reneé, and Stella’s incredible journey thus far; the fastest girl group ascent to superstardom since Little Mix launched over a decade ago. Representing the power of 3 – 3 members, 3 matching tattoos from their first trip to NYC together, 3 songs and 3rd July – “3 of us” is a gift to fans this festival season, dropping before their highly anticipated Wireless performance. Featuring songs FLO has been finessing live since their sold-out debut London headline at The Outernet to performing to 90,000 people at Capital’s Summertime Ball, 3 Of Us features MNEK produced ‘Control Freak’, ‘Change’, and the title track, all of which capture the R&B sensations doing what they do best: unparalleled lush harmonies underpinned by lyrics that question bad romance and herald female empowerment.

On Control Freak and Change: “We wrote these two songs last year and thought they would be a great addition to our set list for our debut shows! We were overjoyed with the reception they received throughout our North American tour and thought it’s only right we give the fans what they deserve!”
On 3 Of Us: “Also written last year, this was our take on The Boy Is Mine by icons, Brandy and Monica. It was so fun to write with MNEK again as he always understands our vision. We got to live our 90s love triangle fantasy!
Last week, FLO attended the BET Awards having been nominated for Best New International Act, Best Group, and Best New Artist. Nominations were selected by the BET Voting Academy, comprising an esteemed group of entertainment professionals and influencers in the fields of music, media and the creative industry. The nominations come following the conclusion of FLO’s successful debut North American tour in which they played 9 headline shows across 9 cities, performing at iconic venues from Toronto’s Opera House, New York’s Webster Hall, to the infamous Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. The tour attracted the attendance of R&B sensations Chloë Bailey and Destin Conrad, Tori Kelly and Wiz Khalifa, and during the Atlanta leg of the tour FLO’s favourite singer and songwriter Victoria Monét made a surprise appearance to serenade the girls with flowers during their performance. Later that week the girls took to the stage at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for the first time to perform a live rendition of ‘Fly Girl’. Once again FLO proved themselves to be destined for global superstardom. On their return back to the UK, in true ‘Fly Girl’ fashion FLO took to the red carpet to attend the London premiere of Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ rubbing shoulders with the likes of Stormzy and Halle Bailey.

FLO have become the hottest festival act to see this summer internationally, having debuted at Glastonbury, Capital Summertime Ball, BBC’s Big Weekender and Parklife all in two weeks. Over the next week, FLO will take to stage at Longitude and Wireless, proving that their sensational vocals, choreography and charismatic charm make them the ones to watch this year. Earlier this month, FLO continued their collaboration with the legendary American rapper Missy Elliott, dropping two remixes of the top 40 tracks summer anthem “Fly Girl” collaborating with Eliza Rose and Magicsticks. The Hackney-born vocalist and DJ Eliza Rose remix emulates the ultimate girl-boss collaboration, Eliza known for her worldwide smash ‘B.O.T.A (Baddest Of Them All)’, the track that saw her crowned as the first female DJ to reach Number One in 20 years and is now certified platinum in the UK. Similar to FLO, Eliza is inspired by 90s R&B from Aaliyah to Destiny’s Child. As a record producer, Eliza infuses buttery vocals with noughties inspired uptempo Dance and Garage instrumentals that pay homage to the queer community.

Gracing the covers of ES Magazine “first came Spice Girls, then came Sugababes, Little Mix, and now FLO” and NME, “one of the most-talked about groups on the planet” as well as attending the Loewe Fashion show in Paris alongside the likes of Naomi Campbell and Edward Enningful, the London-based award winning girl group show no signs of slowing down. It has been just shy of a year since FLO released their debut single “Cardboard Box”, the song has now amassed 100M global streams, with their debut EP “The Lead ” reaching over 300M streams to date. Wanting to thank fans for their support, FLO released “Losing You” at the end of last year, premiering on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music Radio, an R&B slow jam that showcases three voices so connected with each other and their growth as the most remarkable vocalists coming out of the UK music scene, even catching the attention of British rapper Stormzy. Stella, Renée and Jorja were invited to collaborate with Stormzy on the remix for “Hide & Seek”, after he tweeted “ready when you are girls” following a Capital XTRA video of the group speaking about their dream UK collaboration. Stormzy sent a video message to FLO about the collaboration and also told them the incredible news that they had won the BBC Sound Of 2023, which you can watch here. FLO sat down with Amelia Dimoldenberg for a special episode of her infamous ‘Chicken Shop Date’ series in which the girls were asked a series of unorthodox questions giving spotlight for Reneé, Jorja and Stella’s unique personalities to shine.
