A British Airways plane caught fire yesterday at Las Vegas airport as the plane prepared to take off. According to reports, the Boeing 777 which was bound for London’s Gatwick Airport,was getting ready to take off when passengers heard a loud sound. The pilot of British Airways plane from Las Vegas saved the lives of more than 100 passengers on board after aborting a take off after when an engine caught fire.
After a minute, the pilot told the passengers that there was an emergency and they needed to evacuate.
It was confirmed 159 passengers were on board and 13 crew.
Two were said to have suffered minor injuries and received medical attention all they were not life threatening.
