Cargo Hold temporarily closed due to COVID-19 exposure

Cargo Hold; the plush, nautical themed restaurant within the iconic Phantom ship at uShaka Marine World has been temporarily shut down as a preventative measure, upon confirmation of a positive test for COVID-19.  

The restaurant was closed immediately and decontamination processes were applied in order to sanitise and deep clean the restaurant.

Neville Pillay, acting CEO for uShaka Marine World said, “The health and safety of staff and patrons is of the utmost importance. As a precautionary step, those who work in the restaurant have been requested to self-isolate for 14 days and are monitoring themselves for any symptoms. 

Cargo Hold will reopen once we have ensured it is safe to serve our patrons again.
