Cassper Nyovest who lost his pricey gold chain while performing at the Youth Hip-Hop Festival few weeks ago has found back his key to the city.
The rapper took to his social media account to offer a reward of R50,000 to who ever find/return the lost chain but according to the rapper, the person who returned the chain didn’t get the promised reward.
He shared picture of himself jumping into the crowd during his performance in Durban and wrote:
“Durban has been so dope… I ended jumping into the crowd for the first time in my life cause I felt the love so much. Unfortunately I lost my keys to the city chain. I would like to give a 50k reward to whoever can bring it back to me,” he captioned a picture of his crowd surfing.
The rapper during an interview with Slikour, revealed that he got the diamond encrusted key pendant back but NO the person did not receive the 50k reward rather a little compensation.
“I didn’t pay R50K, cause he stole my shit. But you know there’s like a little compensation.”
The rapper explained exactly what went down, and why he did not make good on his promise.
“Honestly I just didn’t like the approach. Cause when they got there they got the pendant, and he said he didn’t have the chain. Then they told him okay but we want the whole chain. Then he’s like, oh okay I have the chain. So the whole thing was like, he was actually trying to rob me or not help me.”
