Spin your way to the top of the virtual game leaderboard
Red Bull Shay’i Moto spinning competition is back for its third edition. Once again, the best spinners across South Africa will go gusheshe-to-gusheshe for the top spot in a closed event taking place on 11 September 2021.
To celebrate the event’s third year, spinning fans can win a money-can’t-buy VIP trip to the main event. All they must do is play the virtual game and stand a chance to win prizes and front row seats at the event. Prizes such as limited-edition Red Bull Shay’ iMoto and Puma merchandise will be given away on a weekly basis during the competition period.
Last year’s champion, Limpopo sinner Katra Mokgoshi, will be at the event to provide an exhilarating experience to the winner and their friend. “Spinning fans now have the chance to get in on the action of Red Bull Shay’ iMoto and stand a chance to watch the event in live and person by spinning in their own gusheshe on their phones or computers. After winning last year, I can’t wait to compete in this year’s edition of the competition.” says Katra.
Playing the game is simple. Players need to log onto Red Bull Shay’ iMoto page to put their skills to the test on the road. It’s an exhilarating game which allows players to accelerate, turn and hit the brakes matching the colours on their screen in tune to incredible beats to accumulate points. The more accurate the player is, the more points they will earn and move towards the top spot.
Players can unlock special abilities for even further point boosts as they master their Red Bull Shay’ iMoto round until their tyres pop! The more points score, the bigger chance of making it to the leaderboard to win

Last year’s action-packed event saw King Katra walk away with the title after a heated head-to-head battle with Eddie Rasta. The event drew a global online audience making sure Mzansi motorsports was put on the map.
This year’s Red Bull Shay’ iMoto event will take place in Johannesburg, on 11 September, where spinners will be tested on their showmanship, creativity, style and control to determine who is the best spinner in South Africa. The best spinner will drive away with the title of the 2021 Red Bull Shay’ iMoto champion.
