Ciara and Ludacris were on Good Morning America on Monday to announce the nominees for the 2016 Billboard Music award. However, Ciara was not pleased when she saw ex-lover Future’s name on her card.
The “Love Sex Magic” singer, who is now engaged to NFL player Russell Wilson, was reading off the list of nominees alongside cohost Ludacris when she suddenly stopped speaking halfway through announcing the Best Rap Artist nods. The actor-rapper, 38, jumped in to say the “Stick Talk” rhymer’s name before Ciara would finish the category.

Ciara filed a $15 million defamation and slander lawsuit against her ex in February. In the lawsuit, Ciara refers to Future’s aggressive tweets, including the time the rapper called her a “bitch” with “control problems”.
The exes, who are parents to 23-month-old son Future Jr., called off their engagement in August 2014. Ciara got engaged to Wilson in March.
