Clarence Peters And Seyi Shay Reportedly Having A Secrete Love Affair
Popular video director, Clarence Peters, is said to be in a romantic relationship with Nigerian pop singer Seyi Shay.
The relationship is new as the pair allegedly hit it off just a few weeks ago, towards the end of 2013.
The lovers are very fond of themselves but have been trying their best to keep their love affair discreet.
‘They just started dating; it’s been a few weeks now. They look good together but have been keeping it on the low,’ a source close to Clarence Peters said.
Seyi’s music video for one of her recently released songs ‘Ragga Ragga’ was shot by Clarence Peters in December, but seven months earlier the pair had worked together on her high budget music video, ‘Irawo’. It is believed that this is how they hooked up.
If this is true, then it won’t be the first time Clarence has been romantically linked with a female Nigerian act. Back in 2007, he dated rapper Kelechi ‘Kel’ Ohia who was signed to his Capital Hill record label at the time. They, however, separated following accusations of cheating, with Kel walking away from her recording contract.
However, an insider insists the couple wants to take things slow, especially for Clarence who is himself a product of a celebrity relationship that existed over two decades ago between Juju musician Sir Shina Peters and Nollywood star Clarion Chukwurah.
