Johannesburg, South Africa, 15 November 2021: Westcon-Comstor Sub-Saharan Africa, a leading global distributor, today announced that its Comstor business has been named the South African Distributor for the Year 2021 by its strategic vendor partner Cisco. Announced at the Cisco South Africa Partner Summit 2021 Executive Dinner, the award builds on an impressive winning streak by the company.

The name Comstor is synonymous with Cisco as one of the longest standing distributors for the company across Africa. Today Comstor honours this partnership through continued investment in developing its skills, technical resources, and those of its reseller base. While sales continue to be a major factor of the awards criteria, Comstor has consistently overachieved in the areas of reseller development and mentorship at a grassroots level. Today its focus on providing new businesses with business development, marketing-as-a-service, and onboarding support is unrivalled in the region.
