LITKOVSKAYA, LOVE HERO & MAISON ARTC show on Day 2 of KORNIT FASHION WEEK in London
In attendance were: First Lady of Ukrainian Embassy in London, Mrs Inna Prystaiko; Ukrainian influencer Tatyana Kodzayeva, Ela Czuruk – Ukrainian London-resident who brought a huge group of fellow UA countrymen, Philip Sallon, Beige Renegade, Annalise Dayes, Mary Fellowes, designers (who will be showing tomorrow), Aharon Genish and Golan Frydman (previously of FYODOR GOLAN), Susi Smither of THE ROCK HOUND, Jordon WIFI of Last Night In Paris, Isabel Froemming, Leroy Dawkins, Bee Abid, Emma London, Karine Laudort, Mason Smilie, Kornit CEOs Ronen Samuel & Chris Govier
Kornit Fashion Week rolled into day 2, with a stunningly artful runway show by MAISON ARTC, that became an installation for people to come up close and examine the incredible pieces, which resembled mixed media works of art. Maison ArtC unites all peoples, cultures, religions, colours in his designs; East meets West, and North and South unite – in a celebration of LOVE and PLEASURE – two words projected behind the show along with imagery from the desert – harking to where Creative Director Artsi Ifrah is based. This was followed by an installation from LOVE HERO, once again celebrating all peoples, sizes, colours, genders and orientations, with an extraordinary mixed casting.
The scene was an artist’s studio where a painter started throwing colours against a canvas that then became a dress, and was put on a model – followed by others walking out in the clothes, which incorporate swirls of paint and marbling done by Creative Director – Joshua Scacheri and his 7 year old daughter. 80% of his last collection has been upcycled into making this new one called SECOND LAYER, with new printing by Kornit done over the top of the previously made garments. LOVE HERO credits THE ROCK HOUND for jewellery.

The day culminated in an extraordinarily moving show from Lili LITKOVSKAYA, who was not able to show her collection at Paris Fashion Week this past March.
An all-Ukrainian female cast (“as our men are at war” explained Lili) marched down the catwalk with defiance. All against the backdrop of a rolling newsreel of imagery and words relaying atrocities of the war. Lili came out at the end in tears holding a sign in the Ukrainian colours stating HELP MARIUPOL NOW. She was embraced by the Ukrainian Ambassador’s wife, and a group of supporting fellow countrywomen. An incredibly moving and emotional show.
A standout piece was a simple white shirt which Kornit emblazoned with the QR codes of her fellow UA creatives that she has rallied together on the IG channel she created: @artcodeua LITKOVSKAYA show by Dave Benett/Getty: https://we.tl/t-NpLtydGciN brand assets here
