TV personality and actress Denise Zimba has made it crystal clear that she didn’t sleep her way to the top but rather worked her butt out to stardom.
Denise Zimba said in an interview that she worked to get to where she is in her career and hasn’t slept her way through the industry.
In an interview on Slikouronlife, the former V-Entertainment presenter said: “Never has happened. Ever. And if I did sleep with someone, I thought I was falling in love, but clearly I got caught up with the fact that some of these guys aren’t about falling in love. But that’s as far as it goes. Other than that, I work my damn a** off to be here, studied for it…”
The former Vuzu presenter also opened up on how she walked away from her a reality which was solely her idea, revealing why the reality show failed.
“We wish we could have showed the drama that was happening and we wished they could have shown the realness of what was happening but that didn’t happen,” Denise says.
Admitting that the show was a little plastic, she says that the lavish lifestyles the show projected were not real and that her reality was far more scary, as she battled to make ends meet.
“A lot of people didn’t know that I was living my car for the three months that I was shooting the show,” she says.
Denise reveals that the Spice Girls-inspired concept for the show was her original idea but that she had to walk away after seeing what it had become.
The energetic presenter shared pictures from her vuzu farewell on her social media page which was bombarded with lots of heart melting messages from her fans.
