DIE EINDSTE SINGS ABOUT NEW BEGINNINGS IN NEW ALTERNATIVE ROCK SINGLE
Since the release of their debut album, Grys, at the end of 2021, Gauteng rock group, Die Eindste, has only gone from strength to strength.
Not only did their first two singles get airplay on several major radio stations, but their music video was also very well received.
Now this talented group of men are back in the spotlight with a brand-new single that is just as exciting as the new beginnings they are singing about.
JY WAS NET BETER is an alternative rock track, written by frontman André Faurie, with an acoustic folk touch, composed by Ruan Pieterse, Ian Putter, André Faurie and Markus Roland Els, and produced by Markus Els of Mark7Studios.
“The song is about a new beginning and change that is part of life. Seasons are used to indicate these changes and there is also emphasis on a new beginning with someone in the writer’s life,” they explain about the meaning behind the song. “We think people are going to love the combination of new acoustic folk sounds and our signature alternative rock approach.”
Die Eindste , whose name originated from a conversation between the group members, was formed in 2019, when a group of school friends (André Faurie, Ruan Pieterse and Ian Putter) decided to make music together.
The group still has many plans and dreams for the future, including performing live as much as they possibly can. They are also planning some new music and other exciting projects for next year.
Creating music and videos that listeners can relate to, is very important to the group and their latest release attests to the fact.
“As a group we are working hard on creating a fresh sound. With this song we wanted to combine elements of different genres, with a bridge at the end, which makes it very different. We hope that people will appreciate the uniqueness of the track,” the conclude.
JY WAS NET BETER is available on all digital platforms.
