They may share a child‚ and once a home‚ but DJ Zinhle said that she is happier without the father of her child AKA.
The pair‚ who recently got involved in a nasty Twitter spat‚ broke up late last year over claims that AKA had cheated on her with Bonang Matheba.
Up until their public spat last month‚ many fans were holding onto the hope that the pair would someday reunite. But Zinhle all but dismissed this in an interview she did with Jacaranda FM on Tuesday.
“I am happier now than what I was‚ with him but he gave me a beautiful child‚” she said.
She revealed that the couple’s breakup had an effect on her but that she is now happy and‚ contrary to what her former bae might think‚ very stable.
“All break ups do that for you. You start cutting you hair‚ riding bikes….I am definitely stable and happy‚” she said.
On a journey of self-discovery‚ Zinhle said she has healed following the couple’s high-profile breakup.
“The body heals‚ the soul heals‚ and your heart heals‚” Zinhle said.
