Come and support the boys and girls who will be showcasing their football skills, at the Energade 5 a side soccer tournament this Sunday, September 2nd 2018, hosted at Kloof High School.
This fast-paced variety of the game is soccer’s version of Sevens rugby, or T20 cricket, with matches only being 8 minutes long.
Teams will consist of 5 players on the field and will see 80 teams going head-to-head vying for that coveted first prize title. So it’s sure to be action packed.
Schools that are participating stretch as far south as Port Shepstone High, as far north as Eshowe High and as far inland as Michaelhouse College- and everywhere in between.
The day kicks off at 8.30am on Sunday, September 2nd, featuring back to back games. If you can’t be there in person to catch the action, you can still watch on KloofTV, where all the games will be live streamed.
Bobby Deutschman, organiser of this prestigious event, “We are very excited to be hosting this event again for the 18th year, at Kloof High for the first time.
We are sure to experience some action packed games featuring some up and coming talent at school level throughout KZN”.
He added, “It’s highly competitive, but lots of fun, this is a sport that can be enjoyed by all. A big thanks must go to the sponsors- Energade, Umbro and Primo. Without them this event wouldn’t have been possible!”
Various fields have also been sponsored by the likes of Satin Candy, Sharks Football Academy and Stick and Lick. There are still a few more fields available for sponsorship.
For those looking for the ideal sponsorship opportunity contact Bobby Deutschman on 0824589379 to get your company’s name on the side of the field.
So bring a deck chair, loads of support and settle in to watch some action packed soccer. Food and soft drinks will be available, from a number of different vendors, on the day.
