Adelani Ogunrinade (jnr.) has been the face of an array of prominent TV stations in Africa. An infectious sense of humor and an amiable onscreen persona has made the Sports and entertainment writer a well-loved TV personality. The British born Nigerian media practitioner has covered prestigious football festivals like the 2018 World Cup in Russia as well as several African Nations Cup tournaments

A beautiful face, eloquence, sharp intellect and an equally alluring personality are a few of the many amazing qualities Biopelo Mabe has been blessed with.

Yesterday evening, Jozigist caught up with the 2017 Miss South Africa 2nd princess and it turns out that her likeable onscreen persona was a realistic glimpse into who she truly is off camera.

Simply dressed in a yellow top and a purple pencil skirt, the beauty queen also had on her trademark radiant smile as we engaged her in a chat about the prestigious pageant that changed her life and much more.

My first question was birthed from a burning curiosity to know more intricate details about her lifestyle now.

“Of course my lifestyle has experienced a few changes. I am definitely more public now, which is something really different that I had not really experienced before the competition. All of a sudden I am this public figure that is recognized wherever I go. It has been a beautiful journey because I am getting to connect with the general public a lot more,” Biopelo revealed.

Her cagey response was void of controversy, but acceptable nonetheless so we decided to move on to the next question about her future aspirations – Is Biopelo secretly nursing ambitions to be the first female president of South Africa?

“No ways! (chuckles) as much as many people would like me to be that, that’s not where I have my eyes set. I am looking to develop more in my broadcasting career as a news anchor and a host.”

Her rise to stardom will surely inspire many young women from a similar background and here was her advice to them:

“For young women who want to be where I am today, I want to tell you that it starts from knowing who you are and what your purpose in the world is. Spend a lot of time with yourself: ask yourself some very important questions and get to the core of why you want to do what you want to do and you will be amazed how far you will go in life.”
