Flabba’s girlfriend, Sindisiwe Manqele, made a brief appearance at the Wynberg magistrates court this morning.
Sindisiwe is accused of killing the Skwatta Kamp rapper, allegedly after a violent argument.
The court room was filled to capacity by journalists, camera crew and people who knew Flabba.
Flabba’s sister and brother, was overcome with emotion throughout the proceedings. When Sindiswe took the stand, Flabba’s sister clutched onto the seat, in front of her and started shaking uncontrollably.
Shortly afterwards, the accused showed the judge various bruises on her arm, one stab wound to the stomach and her lawyer stated that she was complaining of pain.
Sindiswe’s lawyer further stated that she intends to apply for bail, while the state says it will oppose the bail application.
Court has been adjourned until 16 March when the accused will apply for bail.
